I am a final year undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Design in Department of Design at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, one of the premier technical institute of India.
My work background and coursework have supplied me with many skills and an understanding of dealing with the different situations. I have gained professional experience in usability design, application design and creative problem solving through diverse work experiences including previous years summer internships at Progress Software and Samsung India, freelancing for Online Shopping Start-up and Yearbook design of 2012 batch of IIT Guwahati. In addition, through coursework in New Media Studies, Interaction Design, Tangible User Interfaces, Physical Computing, etc., I have acquired skills like Information Architecture, Heuristics Evaluation, Navigation Modelling, etc. -

Usability Design - Summer InternshipHyderabad, IndiaMay 2013 - Jul 2013 (2 months)Worked on the UI Study of aPaaS Platforms and develop an UX Model to designed an application Platform as a Service (aPaaS) called Progress PACIFIC.
Work started with the demonstration of similar platforms like Salesforce, Eclipse Orion, Rollbase etc. to get myself experience with aPaaS. Interviews were conducted with Software Engineers to get to know about their opinion, behavior and requirements towards the platforms. Extractions are taken out from the existing platforms that would help building the Progress PACIFIC. Based on the UI Study, UX Model was evolved showing all the possible features, functions and current trend. -

Work included the management of 35+ events, 4 pronites, 8 proshows , 10+ workshops, infrastructure of whole festival etc. Also responsible for the branding if the festival in which website, posters, flyers etc were designed. -
