Manage multiple projects in a self-directed manner in all aspects of the design process. Collaborate on healthcare interior design and architecture projects including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development and management of budgets and schedules, construction administration, and FF&E specification.

I was originally hired to work on interior upfits and corporate projects, however since joining this firm I have been immersed in prototypical hospitality projects. I have worked on a variety of Hospitality projects that include both Property Improvement Plans and new construction. (Residence Inn, Hyatt Place, Holiday Inn Express & Courtyard Marriott). Responsibilities include accessing and learning each Brand Standards; working with owners and Brand Design Coordinators to get approved amenity space pans and guest room layouts; coordinating Fitness Room, Kitchen and Laundry Equipment layouts and schedules to comply with Brand Standards; and developing a full set of Interior Design drawings for final approval by each Hospitality Brand review team and for permit as well.

Responsible for a variety of drafting and design tasks, including but not limited to space planning, design development, developing construction documents, permitting, construction administration, coordination and specification of finishes & materials. Coordination of engineering drawings and understanding of MEP construction documents.

Responsible for developing architectural construction documents in collaboration with clients and architects as well as all aspects of developing the interior design scheme and construction documents within the architectural set. Experienced and trained in Architectural Revit 2014. Full 121,000 sf project completed in Revit.

Secured a volunteer opportunity while experiencing a layoff during the recession. Began working as a volunteer in the kennels and was able to turn that opportunity into full time employment doing administrative work and assistant to the president of the facilities

Responsible for commercial interior upfits from initial test-fits and space planning to final construction documents. Selected finishes and prepared material presentation boards. Measuring existing building sites, hand sketching field measurements and transferring those findings to AutoCAD to create As-Built drawings.

Responsible for carrying both commercial and high end residential projects through all phases of schematic design, design development, construction documents, requests for information and construction administration.
