Ben Williams

I work independently and as part of a design team to deliver creative solutions for websites, apps, menus and logos, using design software on Adobe Creative Suite. Designs are produced in a fast paced environment and required for digital or print purposes to promote a business by complimenting their individual brand.

I was a lecturer in Coleg Gwent as a member of a new and innovative multidisciplinary teaching team. The main focus of the role was to teach students how to create designs using both digital and traditional methods, including the design software within Adobe Creative Suite.

I liaise with a variety of clients to create graphic designs and illustrations according to their specifications.

As an Engagement Officer for Bridgend Council, I was responsible for travelling to various locations and independently promoting the education, training and work experience opportunities that were being offered by Communities First. I was also continually liaising and building working relationships with external agencies in order to deliver the best service for the clients.

I successfully delivered Art & Design education courses to a wide range of Learners from varying backgrounds. I created all learning resources and complete all teaching administration, which had to undergo Internal Quality Assurance.

I have worked within the retail sector for over a decade and have extensive experience selling a large range of products in a customer-focused environment. I have been at the forefront of selling and able to deliver a high standard of customer service due to my strong communication skills and product knowledge. I have great experience of retail operations and have had responsibilities in managing and leading Sales Assistants to achieve personal and team goals in a challenging environment.

I promoted, organised and facilitated life drawing classes and an exhibition for Carnegie House to aid in the campaign to have it recognised as an art hub.
