As an exhibit and graphic designer at EDX, I work with and coordinate between project managers, exhibit and graphic designers, CAD drafters, writers, and artists to usher ideas from concept to fabrication.

I have worked on projects for clients across the country and while each project is unique, my responsibilities in a typical job include:
• project management.
• designing two-dimensional and three-dimensional exhibit graphics and user experiences.
• designing the "look and feel" and functionality of digital interactive experiences.
• communicating design intent to the client at the end of each phase of the project.
• database creation and maintenance.
• image acquisition.
• copy-editing.
• writing project briefs and meeting reports.
• creating high-resolution, print-ready artwork for fabrication.
• working with artists and photographers to create custom artwork.
• designing and communicating artistic treatments for other media.

I also work in support of EDX's marketing efforts to update the company's social media profiles as needed, produce proposals, and design visual collateral and presentations used in the promotion of EDX to potential clients and fellow designers in the industry.

Created product mockups for pitch meetings and designed targeted advertisements and promotional campaigns for potential clients in the non-traditional medium of “below-the-line” restroom advertising. Products included Brand Wrap™ and Mobile Boomerang™. Helped design the look and feel of a third line of retail-oriented advertisements, C-Store Ice Box Wraps, designed to reinforce brand awareness in the store and advertise time and location-specific promotional incentives.

Prepared, edited, and retouched images for use in the relaunch of the company’s website and digital catalog.

Designed a new identity to be used in the marketing and promotion of boxing matches produced by the company. Included in this new identity is an ongoing series of posters promoting specific fights and matches.

Developed a new logo and identity for the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Washington College of Built Environments. Also created wire frames and style guidelines for the front-end development of the Runstad Center’s new website, www.reuw.washington.edu.

My initial duties at EDX consisted of working under the direction of senior staff to modify and revise exhibit graphics and marketing collateral, as well as creating, maintaining, and organizing exhibit databases with occasional receptionist duties.

While interning at EDX, I worked on several projects including exhibits for Natchez National Historical Park, Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, and San Juan National Historical Park.
