With the pace at which wearable technology has accelerated, a testing platform named "DevKit" was created to allow others to hack and explore various use cases that smart eyewear could provide. This piece of wearable technology featured pressure, gesture, accelerometer, temperature, LEDs, and IR sensors that paired with an in house developed app. A micro USB was hidden in the left temple hinge break keeping it easily accessible, but out of sight when not in use. With the technology prominently displayed, this platform was made to be hacked.
