Fahad Azad is engineering manager with overall 10+ years of experience. Currently working with mechanical and electronics R&D team for series A funded warehousing automation start up Grey Orange India Pvt Ltd in India.
Prior to this he Co-Founded Robosoft Systems which ran for 6 years. During that time it was was mentioned in MIT TR 35 innovator's list of 2011 for designing a robot for cleaning air duct.
Robosoft was also Awarded Leanest startup by Silicon Valley Robotics 2014 and top 5 robotics start up in at Innorobo 2014 France. It was mentioned in Forbes, Economist , MIT technology review magazine and various national news papers.
Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, he worked 1.5 years as product designer, sheet metal and plastic molding manufacturing consultant for an IIT Bombay incubated educational robotics startup Thinklabs.
He has been making drones and flying gliders since 1998. In march 2014, he made an experimental drone which did India's 1st drone delivery with a pizza in Mumbai.
