I am currently in my third year out of four in the Bachelor of Industrial Design program at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I am seeking an internship for the fall of 2014.
My interests in the design field include packaging, product, furniture, and graphic design. My skills include concept sketching, hand and computer rendering, user testing, user experience testing, prototyping, rapid prototyping, and model making using methods of working with foam, wood, and metal.
As a designer I strive to create products that serve a purpose and help others. Too often do we waste time with things we do not need. Many say that design should make people’s lives easier, but I believe it should make their lives richer.
I have a love for travel, snowboarding, art, sewing, and the outdoors. I welcome challenges and the unknown in everything I do; I believe these qualities have allowed me to grow during my studies at Carleton University.
