As a young creative who graduated in Industrial Design at RMIT University with Honors in 2012, I have continued to grow and further develop my skills. Throughout my education and employment both here and in the UK, I have been fortunate to be exposed to many different areas of design, giving me a wide base of knowledge and experience. I believe this allows me to offer a fresh and innovative approach to any task, and I am always willing to go beyond what is expected.
The highlight of my design career thus far was achieving a grade of 93% for my final year Industrial Design Honors project. For this project I was presented with the Most Outstanding Major Project Award at the RMIT University Industrial Design Graduate Exhibition. Following this success I won the Colourways Colour Award for Industrial Design and was a finalist for the Design Institute of Australia’s Graduate of the Year Award. Since this success I have done a variety of freelance work and worked for Popcorn Industries as an Industrial Designer. Moving forward I am looking for a position that allows me to work within a progressive company where I can build on my current experience. I have long term abitions to grow within a company where I can produce innovative and practical designs that contrinbute to Australia’s design landscape.
