Furniture/ Product Designer and Product Buyer for Weylandts. Pioneers in the luxury furniture and the art of Good Living.

Responsible for the design and management of current and upcoming furniture ranges.

Conceptualisation, design and development of a wide range of furniture products. I work with local and international manufacturers and am responsible for the development and execution of all products unique to Weylandts.

I am currently working on Port Elizabeth whereby I am designing furniture for the foyer, desks for the bedrooms and murals.

I am currently employed by an online platform called Ziora, specializing in high-end antiques, collectables and modern furniture. I work in client relations; I am responsible for bringing new vendors onto the platform as well as maintaining a good relationship with existing members.

For the course of this year I have worked in the industrial design industry, developing a new product, manufacturing it abroad and selling it to the South African market. This has been the most valuable learning experience of my career thus far as I have assumed responsibilities such as the development and implementation of a product as well as gained leadership and financial management skills.

I worked for a Youth Alignment Agency called And People, whereby my designs were utilised in the new Addidas Run Base in Johannesburg.
