Becoming a successful illustrator/animator takes character both on paper and in person, and boy can I deliver. Inspired by traditional, lovingly executed works by studios such as Disney and Studio Ghibli, Production I.G., Blue Sky and others, I’m a hard worker, a team player, and a creative focused ball of energy you can rely on. I find great value in working with others and holding my work to the highest quality standards.
I don’t believe art or the artist should be limited to just one style, so I find myself constantly creating in new ways. I have extensive knowledge in Adobe Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, Corel Painter, as well as a working knowledge of ToonBoom, Flash, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Maya. After attending Sheridan College and the Art Institute of Toronto for Animation, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Illustration from the Columbus College of Art and Design, both with honors. My work has been featured and sold at Galleria Evangelia, 39 Below (“Sweet” juried show 2012), and the Columbus Eco-Chic Craftacular 2013 amongst others. I’m currently illustrating a children’s book (inspired by Wreck-It-Ralph’s style), designing a line of “Eco-Friendly” forest characters, and painting murals for private clients, though my heart lies in animation and storytelling. I’m constantly learning and developing new stories and techniques.
Memorable stories deserve memorable characters, and with over 7+ years of professional college training in Illustration and Animation, as well as a solid understanding in human (and animal) nature and anatomy, I believe I can do just that. I hope you’ll allow me that chance. My resume and portfolio are also available for your immediate review at www.artofalexandria.com. Thank you sincerely for your time and consideration - I look forward to hearing from you, and being a part of your future work!
