Ink, Prismacolor pencils, and collage with decorative paper, card stock, and an x-acto knife. The whole premise behind the Music in Paper: Inspired by Italy series is that music influences the way that we perceive the world and effects our mood as well as interactions with other people and things. I wanted to illustrate both the seen and unseen elements around this concept. This whole series was done towards the tail end of my semester abroad in Italy, and is also inspired by the sentiments I experienced there.
