I believe that a thorough understanding of the subject matter, both surrounding and contributing to a design or system, greatly enhances a designer’s ability to create effective and innovative solutions. A focus on the initial concept of a project or idea often leads to a wider exploration and choice of solutions. It is my belief that I have a responsibility to not only deliver an effective and practical solution, but also to consider the longevity and sustainability of design.
