Aran Baker is a designer, researcher, and strategist. She is passionate about the role of design in tackling climate change and creating greater access to services, technology, and information. Aran is also trained as a service designer and is an IDEO Civic Design Fellow.
Aran has an MS in Design and Urban Ecologies from Parsons School of Design, and an MFA in graphic design from the Academy of Art University. She taught systems thinking and sustainable design at Parsons School of Design, and recently started a service design and climate change working group with the San Francisco chapter of the Service Design Network.
She also has over twelve years of experience working as a visual designer and art director, for companies such as Chobani, Condé Nast, and Oracle. She excels at translating a brand story across multiple channels and platforms for maximum impact.
