Akshat Raghava

Akshat Raghava in an independent Industrial designer based in New Delhi, having completed his graduation from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, USA. During his design education, Akshat participated in a wide spectrum of projects and internships. He was awarded I-Design Awards in 2012 & 2014, RISD faculty award in 2009, and he specializes in product, furniture and jewellery design. In 2012, Akshat co-founded Indian Design Company, which specializes in custom designs and services. In his design process, Akshat relies majorly on using traditional design methods such as sketching, model making, prototyping and modelling in computer programs, as well as manufacturing technologies and experimenting with different materials. The key to design success, in his opinion, is based on a combination of simplicity, functionality, emotions and sustainability.
