Anushka Kalro

A professional in Visual Communication Design, I recently secured a Professional Diploma Programme at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bengaluru, India. Prior to this, I completed my foundation studies in design at Symbiosis Institute of Design in Pune.

Currently, I work as a design consultant to a real estate firm. I am also consulting part time on other design projects for several firms.

During this time, some of the subjects I've pursued are Layout, Typography, Visual culture, Public spaces and hybrid media, Business design, Information design, System and Interface design, Motion graphics, Politics and Graphics, Publication design, copy-writing and editing, Textile design, Packaging, Music, and Dance. I am currently working on my final project at Srishti School of Art, Design, and Technology.

Having worked with two professional organizations during my summer vacations, I have worked on projects for some interesting clients. During the summer of 2010, I worked at Ogilvy- An advertising and branding agency. There, I worked on projects for Royal Orchid hotels, Titan, Allen Solly, Beyond Carlton, India Skills, Vodafone and MTR. The next summer, at Trapeze - a multi-disciplinary design firm, I worked on projects with Sarovar hotels, APM Terminals Pipavav, and Indian School of Business.

My areas of interest include illustration, User Experience design, jewellery design, branding, photography, food, dance, music, and, textile.
