Vitruvian Aesthetics Identity

Vitruvian Aesthetics is a family-owned medical laser treatment facility operating in Brooklyn, New York. I was approached to develop a brand identity that sets the business apart from its competition and helps to establish the brand in this emerging market.

Initial market research had shown that most, if not all, laser treatment facilities operating in this area cater more to the female client: script and highly flourished type, feminine business names (using words such as Beauty, Allure, etc), and gender-specific color palettes.

Built to the dimension and proportion laid out by da Vinci himself, the icon is a stylized VA symbol that becomes instantly recognizable, can be very simply replicated in print and other point of sale material, and lends itself well to any future merchandising. It is modern, friendly, and memorable and reduces down to minute size without loss of clarity or quality.
