St. Johns Bridge - TC2 Digital Weaving
By bringing in an iconic photograph of St. Johns Bridge into Photoshop, I was able to render the image down to 8 gradations of black and white. I manipulated the image to have an upside down seamless repeat. I then I separated out each individual graduation of color to its own layer. This allowed me to use my weave structure knowledge and apply the appropriate weave structure to each layer using the pattern overlay feature and achieve the desired image for the final weave. I then plugged in the file to the TC2 and wove the final design.
