Two passions interweave in her life - visual arts and music. Anna spent the early years of education in a music school, learning to play the piano and sing. She entered contests and music concerts, taking first steps on stage. In her free time she painted, drew and designed her first art collages.
After changing her course, Anna graduated with honors from the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Kraków, drawing in particular human figures and portraits.
During this time she became interested in photography as a medium.
''My professor called me a Portrait Company. I created a large amount of drawing and photographic portraits back then. It was a time to study art history and to learn and develop new techniques and skills”.
Anna graduated from a very prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, previously finished by such painters as S. Wyspiański, J. Malczewski, J. Mehoffer, L. Wyczółkowski and Jan Matejko - famous historical painter who was its director for 20 years.
She devoted the years spent at the university to further develop her drawing, photographic and graphic skills. She also found interest in poster art.
After graduation, Anna had several exhibitions held in Poland and Germany. Her work were exhibited in the Palace of Arts in Kraków.
Since 2008, Anna travels between Poland and England. She has set up her own photo studio while continuing painting, graphic design and interior designs on request. She is working with English and Polish music bands. After a turbulent time searching for her place, she currently lives and works in England.
“I feel comfortable creating a new world in my art, through which I communicate with the customer.
I've always been fascinated by human portrait, in particular portraits of women. I'm interested in face and figure; they reveal emotions, feelings, experiences and personality.
In my works I’m looking for the particular mood, also for interesting light - full of contrast that builds atmosphere. My inspirations are masters of classical paintings: Rembrandt and Carravagio, works of Toulouse-Lautrec and Tamara Łępicka. When it comes to contemporary artists, I very much appreciate Fabian Perez – as an artist and person. Meeting him in person had a huge impact on me. ''
