I worked on Barbie for 7 years specializing in development design and customized and licensed product. I was a founding member in creating the Disney Doll design group and worked closely with Disney, Blue Bird, Pixar, and Bob Mackie to create aesthetically accurate and innovative product. I was responsible for guiding a staff of 20 designers, model makers, and sample makers to create final designs for production. I traveled extensively to manufacturing facilities and vendor suppliers to make final approvals for production start and materials development. I wrote the first development design proceedure manual for fashion dolls. I was a member of the Aesthetic Review Board, which trained key personel worldwide on Mattel design standards.
