Designing materials according to specs. Taking over designs from art director and making client’s edits. Color-correcting photos. Work on multiple projects at once. Creating direct mail, banner ads, flyers and logos.

Created graphics to support editorial content for live television news. Participated in the design and execution of elements ranging from on-air still graphics & special campaigns to show opens & animated packages. Worked cooperatively with Directors, Producers, Art Directors, and Creative Directors in creating graphics consistent with established CNBC style. Performed any associated duties that may be assigned in relation to the completion of project.

Custom apparel graphics design, garment printing and corporate branding.

Designed story layouts and front cover. Worked hands-on with a team of designers engaged in art projects and layout design. Designed illustrations, informational graphics, logos as needed for stories and/or covers. Edited photos and artwork. On occasion I would take the role of photographer and shoot conferences, special events, subjects and/or interviews. I met with editors/publishers to discuss art/design concepts on a per issue basis. Commissioned illustrators/photographers while monitoring costs and staying within publication budgets. Reviewed all final pages to ensure design and colors are correct. Oversaw files to printer ensuring deadlines are met. Ensured files were saved properly for web. Traveled to GFOA (Government Finance Officers Association) conferences and worked on their daily newsletters. Involved hands-on in the redesign of a few publications.

Worked on the page layout design of a daily newspaper. Designed Logos and ­informational graphics for both print and web. Designed entire supplements consisting of templates, libraries, covers and overall layout for print and web.
