Largest areas of focus include designing/assistant-directing marketing and advertising for web and print for the major hunting outdoor brands at Synergy. This includes maintaining branding identity development and strategy, designing logos, product catalogs, packaging design, print advertisements, web site graphics and layouts, and product photography for the many products made by Synergy brands like Wildgame Innovations, Flextone, Barnett Crossbows, Evolved Harvest, and Evolved Habitats. Responsible for coordinating projects with print companies both domestically and internationally as well as with many representatives for the various national hunting publications we advertise. Participate in weekly creative meetings, and work with international manufacturers to oversee the completion of on-product graphics. Completed and overseen some product design for the various Synergy companies.

Responsibilities mainly apply to the outdoor products team to produce high quality products for retail buyers such as The Home Depot, Sears, and Sam’s Club. This includes teaming up with internal marketing and engineering groups, as well as international vendors, to produce lawn and garden equipment, pressure washers, generators, and the like through the practice of extensive brainstorming, concept sketching, ideation, concept refinement and renderings, rapid prototyp- ing, product photography, as well as extensive 3D computer aided modeling. Tasks also include extensive graphic design and graphic application for each project under brand names like Ryobi, Ridgid, Craftsman, Homelite, and Husky. At the time, worked as the lead designer for Baja Motorsports. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of different off-road vehicle designs from the ground up, brand language and brand identity redevelopment and management, graphic design for all product lines, 2-3 annual visits to various vendors in China to review pre-prototyes and develop business relationships with design and marketing teams abroad.

This included teaming up with internal marketing and engineering groups to create presentations for external retail buyers like The Home Depot. The internship required user research workshops and daily communication between the North America and Hong Kong studios in order to coordinate design and engineering efforts. Tasks called for extensive concept sketching,v ideation, concept refinement, product photography, brainstorming, as well as limited 3D computer modeling.
