Picture Frame Jigs + Makery

The past few days I've been making some picture frames. I made three incredibly helpful jigs for different parts of the process.

45 degree miter sled - an MDF platform with maple runners underneath produced way more accurate 45's then using a chop saw. Check out this video on how to build one for yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgVthkUE4AU.

Corner clamps - 3/4" MDF and 5/8" plywood screwed together with 45 degree notches cut into the MDF. I found this to be a waaay easier method (vs. store bought corner clamps) for getting super tight joints.

Spline jig - Fits over the table saw fence and is a safe/effective way of cutting spline notches. Check out this video to build it yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23wMCOLPX58
