Project Manager
BW Technologies by Honeywell
Calgary, Canada
Sep 2005 - Dec 2010 (5 years 3 months)
With a continuing education certificate completed on my own initiative, I moved into a project manager role to develop the organisational skills needed to coordinate other product development disciplines.
This I achieved through several challenging assignments as BW Technologies was acquired by Honeywell:
- Worked with stakeholders to author requirement specifications for a new product introduction
- Developed industrial design concept and led team of four through implementation to product launch
- Led multiple sustaining engineering projects in parallel, with two staff, prioritising by risk and revenue
- Arbitrated priority conflicts through successful rapport with marketing and operations leaders
- Enabled reliably scheduled end-of-line circuit test device delivery by manufacturing engineering
During attrition periods I assisted with backfill-hiring two industrial designers and one technical editor.
