Primarily self-taught designer with an emphasis in book design. Learned what was then called 'desktop publishing' at World Health Organization in Geneva in the 90s, and since returning to the USA in '95 have been a contract designer primarily working as Design Manager for Inis Communication, Thailand. I produce (and manage production of) books, reports, posters and other printed and virtual materials for health professionals and government and NGO policymakers. Clients have included WHO, UNDP, ILO and UNAIDS. I am versatile, efficient, fast and accurate, and can design in non-English languages such as French, Spanish and Russian. And now (finally) expanding into the wild, wooly world wide web – HTML5, CSS3, Javascript.
