I am a BA (Hons) footwear designer (graduated with a 2.1 from Cordwainers at London College of fashion 2012) with a background in both high street and luxury markets, having designed as an intern for supplier to the high street BSV International and Shoe Design and Trade, for such customers as Dorothy Perkins, Iconic, Internationale and Urban Outfitters US. I also designed as an intern for Joanne Stoker (http://www.joannestoker.com/) including design development for a press piece at London Fashion Week which was later featured on WGSN. I have a commercial understanding across the breadth of industry and an ability to translate trends into the handwriting of particular brands. I have had responsibility at all stages from the conception of ideas, to the specification and sampling process, as well as a technical understanding of footwear making. I have a rich knowledge of textile design and surface treatments, which inform my designs.
