For me, creativity has two aspects: Dreaming up ideas, and technically realizing them. As an artist, I have acquired a vast media knowledge base to realize my visions as well as others' visions. I am a Graphic Designer with a Fine Art background. My undergraduate studies consisted of drawing, painting, sculpture, and visual design. I settled on Illustration as my field of study, and completed my BFA in 2008. Since, I have worked as a Production Artist, as well as a Freelance Graphic Designer for print, video and web.
The technical aspects of creating imagery are in constant flux and I feel that it is important to continue to update and improve my skills. Working in a creative industry means that you will always be a student. Thus far, I am proficient in the basic design programs (InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, and Photoshop); I have working knowledge of web design (Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as well as video / animation software (Flash, AfterEffects). And of course, there is always Google...
