Born and raised a Michigander, I grew up climbing on hay bales, walking barefoot through the woods, driving on roads with stop signs instead of stop lights and was rarely found without a sketchbook or paintbrush in hand. I concentrated on painting while in high school, taking more studio art classes than academic ones and found myself wanting to pursue art as a career – just didn't know what yet.
Craving a change of scenery, my first year of college was spent at a small private college in Southern California, with another four years spent at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. I've been working with an advertising agency, Wilesmith Advertising | Design, since February 2014. We work with non-profits and municipalities with the work varying from brand identity, print design, PR/marketing and social media – my speciality being in print design and social media with some brand identity mixed in.
