Design is about solving problems in innovative ways in the areas of aesthetics, functionality, interaction, and experience; it is a platform for change. There are so many arbitrary and thoughtless products already in existence that our solutions need to be insightful, intuitive, human-centered, and responsible in order to bring the world together in enhanced ways in the future. As a designer, I believe it is my job to understand the systems that surround a problem and its complexities.
