I’m a graphic designer specializing in consumer brands. In my current role at a design firm, I have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, but much of my focus revolves around layout. From large multi-page documents to holiday sale email blasts, I love getting to transform a terrifying blob of solid text into something that's actually readable. With the help of a grid, some logical hierarchy, and a thorough understanding of composition, I get to turn around projects that not only look good, but also accomplish my clients’ goals.
I've learned that the ability to articulate a design decision is not only tremendously helpful when working with a client, but it also clarifies my own thinking and allows me to make even more purposeful decisions on the next project. Check out my blog for a little bit of the thought process that got me to each solution I post.
In my other life, I like exploring my beautiful city of Denver, CO. When I'm not listening to music, I'm playing it (violin mostly) and if there's a good band in town I'm either there or regretting my poor decision.
I also tend to kidnap my boyfriend's photographic pup and pretend that she is mine. I like her, and she likes(hates?) squirrels.
