Hello There! Allison here from the beautiful land of Chicago.
Since a child, I have been moved and empowered by creating and expressing my soul through different mediums. Whether it be furniture, canvas, photography, even aquaponics- I yearn to beautify the world around me. Technically, I am a teacher by trade. I received my education degree from a small liberal arts school in my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before moving to Chicago I taught in Dublin, Ireland at Willow Park Junior School . I moved to Chicago to allow my artistic ability to flourish in an area filled with free spirits and entrepreneurial opportunities. My site is full of my work from current day to many years back. I executed outdoor lesson plans for thirty 9 year old boys and girls. This job came with much responsibility, as I had to not only keep the kids active outside, but also ensure the safety of every child. This camp also worked with the Watson Institute, which gave me a lot of experience with children who have special needs.
