Traveled overseas to interface with factories and the Hong Kong office.

Managed new product development, reported directly to the President. Accountable for developing initial concepts, creating prototypes and technical specifications, preparing models and concept drawings for sales presentations, conducted patent research and supervised one designer. Presented new design concepts to OEM customers.

• Solely responsible for initial concept and development of Mr. Clean wet wipe system.
• Redesigned wet wipe lid to address hinge failures and injuries to users.

Accountable for design projects from initial concept through production. Projects included surgical implant devices, jaw/hand therapy devices and medical examination lighting. Constructed bills of materials, drawing documentation and coordination of production. Updated UL certification. Assisted with GMP and FDA regulations.
• Designed an innovative hand therapy device, which greatly improved MedDev’s market position within the category.
• Reduced implant production costs by more than 70% while improving quality by bringing manufacturing in-house.
