About
Over time, my experience has been mostly focused on the jewelry industry, and so now, that is where I focus my time and energy, and I'm proud to share those skills. As of this writing, I am focusing on CAD modeling to help jewelry stores open bottle necks or offer new services, and I'm developing jewelry lines to offer stores a new option to fill their shelves and excite their customers. Of course, there are many other products and services on the roadmap, and I can't wait to share them with you.
As for my background, I got my master's in Industrial Design. The core of what I do revolves around using design methodology for creating beautiful, functional products, whether jewelry related or not, that customers, and businesses, get passionate about. I've found that it's the little details that make the difference. I'm always designing and redesigning products, user interfaces & systems to make them more attractive, ergonomic, intuitive, and more competitive while working to reduce the cost of manufacturing and shipping. -

We offer business to business jewelry services. Right now, our focus is on CAD modeling to help jewelry stores open bottle necks or offer new services, but we're also working on developing jewelry lines to help create new alternatives for stores to offer on their shelves.

Industrial DesignerDarvierJan 2014 - Jul 2020 (6 years 6 months)Designing custom jewelry for clients includes getting to know the clients, their needs and their personal style. From there I sketch up ideas with clients on the spot using pencil and paper. Once I've developed an idea that the clients absolutely love, I either build a CAD model of the design for milling or 3D printing and lost wax casting, or I work with a wax carver to clearly communicate the design for accurate reproduction in hand carved wax. It just depends on which method the design lends itself to.
The custom designs include everything from slight evolutions to completely new designs from the ground up, from the classically beautiful, to the fun, wild and out there, depending on the clients' desires. -

Also developed a dental handpiece (dental drill) for my thesis. The new design reduces apprehension of pediatric patients, while improving ergonomics for dentists. Also worked as the GTA for the photography class in Auburn's Industrial Design program.
