Tailored Jacket and Trouser
This tailored jacket and trouser were flat patterned, tested with a fit sample, then sewn as a final sample. The jacket has a side flounce, double welt pockets, a mock notched shawl collar with a overlay collar piece, and is enclosed by hook and eyes down the center front. The trouser lies at the natural waist with inverted pleats. There are side seam pockets along the contrast strip down the sides, and a slit at the ankle side seam. The inside seams are either overlocked and bound. The hem is hand stitched with hem tape, and the waist is finished with a facing.
