I am a very passionate, adaptable and tireless Industrial Designer. Throughout my professional work experiences and my academic education, I have become very familiar with the automotive, transportation, components and products industries; and have naturally become fascinated by design problem solving of very specific ergonomic and functional needs of evolving customers, and also future trends and mobility.
I am a Transportation/ Industrial Designer from Bogotá, Colombia, who is innately passionate for creativity and the development of coherent human-centric solutions to everyday situations and also future scenarios. I graduated in May 2017 as an Honors Transportation Designer from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI, but also have some background in Industrial Design from the Pontifical Xaverian University in Bogotá, Colombia. I have over a year of professional experience working with Crown Equipment Corporation in Ohio, and have developed a variety of projects including the design of an entirely new future vehicle for their lineup, as well as redesigning some of their current vehicles and components. I have also participated in International and Local Design Competitions such as the CDN GM 2016 Design Competition for which I was a Finalist, as well as the 2017 Michelin Challenge Design Competition for which I received an Honorable Mention. I have also participated in several Professional Sponsored Projects such as FCA, American Chemistry Council and Michelin. Moreover, I have worked as a Resident Assistant, International Student Ambassador, Student Ambassador, and Transportation Design representative for the College for Creative Studies.
