Soft Goods Engineer and Industrial Designer
Phoenix, AZ
Aug 2017 - Jun 2019 (1 year 10 months)
Responsible for a large portion of patterns, techpacks, prototypes and content for headwear and some other soft goods and merchandise items that reached market between 2017 and 2020.
I began as an intern and gained full employment several months afterwards.
Participated in user-research and studies, as well as contributing ideas to the corporate knowledge database.
Several of the patterns and designs have since been patented and adopted into new lineups across various items, such as golf bags, headwear, apparel and small hard goods.
Was responsible for creating much of the "10,000 Mile Roadtrip", "Hawaii / Sony Open" and "Heritage" product lines, as well as the graphics and content used for branding, such as a font, a bus-wrap and several updates and iterations of the classic "Mr. Ping" iconography.
