Alberta Fujihara

Who am I? I could say the usual stuff; creative art director/graphic designer with over 25 years of experience in a variety of fields, etc., etc. But who I really am is a conglomeration of cultures; Hawaiian/Chinese brought up in Southern California in the 60’s; a child of the Rock Age, the New Age; familiar with sushi before it became a cult classic; a liberal thinker; a spiritual being; interested in making a better, more tolerant world for my children and grandchildren; attempting to stay connected with my roots, my family but above all appreciating the natural beauty that surrounds us. Through my myriad of experiences in this life, I am at the center a generous human. I give through my cooking for others, bringing smiles to faces by feeding friends and family. I missed my calling; should have been a chef; a pastry chef like my niece. Mastering the art came with years of doing; similarly my intuitive design work, quick thinking, problem solving, and hard work has come with years of experience. I always try to give the best of me.
