Full Time contractor with dual role. Primarily responsible for CAD Design and fabrication of the world's first advanced MRI-based calibration phantom. The completed product is due to be distributed to research institutions this year. Additional CAD Design and fabrication of a mechanically rotating MRI sampler for the Medical Department at UCL. Duties involved specialised manufacturing of all parts. This included the fabrication of metal and medical grade plastic parts, the design renders and drawings of all parts and assemblies. The creation of simple testing software to calibrate key mechanical components. Research, sourcing and costing of necessary parts.
