"Retala" is coined from the word "Retailer", and it caters to multiple branches seamlessly. Businesses in Nigeria still use the archaic method of book-keeping and document filing despite the technological advancements in the world, and are unable to make informed decisions about their business health, revenue, customers, and general facility management. Many business owners and staff are not technologically inclined, and spend so much in training to use a software because interfaces are built poorly with ill thought out information architecture, but still underutilize the said software, reverting to manual reporting.
The Home page is the shelf page, it shows the image, name, price, and inventory status of the products available for sale. It can be viewed in grid form or list form. It also has quick action icons for scanning barcode, adding product, and the cart.
It provides multiple payment methods for the users' customers, allowing one to trace the details and categories of each transactions..
Customer page includes the list, contact, and tabs of each customer, reflecting the debts, payments, and transactions.
The app gives a detailed breakdown of each sale transaction, sales representative, time of transaction, invoice ID, and sending of receipts to customers electronically.
With the user control settings, selected users like the owner and manager can approve or decline restock into the inventory for accountability and transparency. The employees' profile and user flow is different.
