Hello and thank you for finding time to review my portfolio. My name is Adam Pratt, born and raised in Southern California. I consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to grow up in the beach city of San Clemente. Over the past decade, Southern California has evolved into the mecca of the action sports industry and has become the stomping grounds for ASR trendsetters who continue to impact and influence the fashion industry as well. Being a native to this Southern California culture has been exhilarating, as I have witnessed this contagious culture that has been a way of life for most of us, transpire and cultivate into a global lifestyle. I have always surrounded myself with action sports athletes and enjoy participating avidly in sports like surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking and stand up paddling. My wife and I live a very active lifestyle and look forward to raising our newly born son in the years ahead living the "California Dream" that we are lucky enough to be part of.
Professionally, I have had the opportunity to work for the industry-leading company in the graduation and scholastic products industry, Jostens Inc. Since being hired in August of 2002, I have been working on more than 35 high school campuses, paying close attention to the trends that thrive and also those that are short lived. I used this knowledge and insight to seek new marketing opportunities and made it my focus to develop products that are relevant within the high school and college markets. Watching trends begin from the grass roots level only to grow organically in many high schools has allowed me to acquire a keen eye for fashionable trends, products and accessories. My focus has been in both sales and product management, while polishing my skill set to further my career and professional development.
In April of 2011, I launched Radar Watches with the goal to build a new, fun and fashionable brand with a bold appeal in the marketplace. Since launching over three years ago, I have built Radar Watches on the idea supporting "1 Watch, 11 Colors, 121 Possibilities...". Radar Watches offer an innovative design that allows the customer to create their own interchangeable watch color combinations. By interchanging the analog watch face and wrist band components, you can now match any outfit, represent your favorite colors to show off some personality, support a charitable cause (i.e. breast cancer awareness - pink watch) or even to support a sports team by boldly displaying your team colors on your wrist.
At Radar Watches, I have overseen all product management responsibilities from cradle to grave, including but not limited to product sourcing, design innovation, R+D, product budget, product launch deadlines, market research/analytics, the ability to identify and generate profitable opportunity, event management, charity and celebrity sponsorship/events, trending fashion awareness in vast markets, front to back office management to oversee manufacturing for product and packaging, as well as import/export knowledge with international factories/trading companies.
Besides efforts to generate online sales on our E-Commerce website ( www.radarwatches.com ), I have been able to establish personal relationships with buyers from AMAZON and other large retailers, increasing sales volume and profitability while gaining brand exposure overall. I have built relationships and connected Radar Watches with Non-Profit Charities including Fox 11 NEWS Anchor Christine Devine's foster care charity "Wednesday's Child", Music Saves Lives, and Tattoo's Cure Cancer. Radar Watches has had success penetrating the celebrity market as we have current celebrities and musicians supporting our vision at Radar Watches.
I look forward to showcasing a few of my projects that I am proud of. Thanks for your time and consideration with my portfolio.
