I designed and developed lines of jewelry and accessories from concept sketch through final product manufacturing. Created low and high fidelity models for product development and to share with the team a concept direction. Built relationships with manufacturers and vendors to streamline processes and problem solve projects. Created "request for quotes" and built best practices per manufacturer. Managed and maintained material supply chains and costs. Used Graphic Design skills to produce high fidelity product renderings, website images, catalogues, business and promotional materials. Partnered with the owner to hire, on-board, and lead new team members.
Participated in business, product, and marketing strategy. Crafted and completed massive action plans to drive forward business movement and growth.
Responsibilities:
Point person to lead projects from start to finish and manage all issues that impact design.
Lead the design of high quality products that delights consumers.
Lead design intent from concept through mass production with cross functional teams including.
Align concepts to brand and business goals.
Drive agenda and prepare for week over week actions and deliverables.
Product build, process troubleshooting, and Color Material and Finish approvals.
Works on multiple projects in parallel.
Maintain a keen eye for design (proportions, color, form, typography, presentation) with strong sense of design & visual culture (graphics, functionality, fashion, ergonomics, cultural trends and history).
Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing and engineering requirements and constraints.
