Abbie Fawcett

I am a hard working second year student, studying BSc Creative Product Design at UWE, Bristol.

I am thoroughly enjoying my course and I'm passionate about all elements of design including graphic design, CAD and ideation sketching. Developing a project from beginning to end is always an interesting and exciting task and something that I look forward to when given a new brief.

Past projects have included working to design an original perfume bottle for a large brand, aiming the new product at a revised market. Designing a concept car for a major brand, with a particular focus on the interior and maintaining the aesthetics and feel of the company. As well as projects that looked at enhancing skills in CAD (Rhino and SolidWorks), drawing and model making, all integral parts of Product Design.

I've been interested in Graphic Design for several years, not only at University but also independently. I was commissioned to design a logo for IronPath, an IT services company, it was subsequently used and on all of their external branding.

Recently, I participated on a live project working with HFT Bristol. HFT are a charitable organisation supporting people with learning difficulties. I was working in a group to professionally produce a high quality product, something that I really enjoyed and look forward to doing again having learnt so much.
