Andy An is an American designer with experience in product design, fabrication, concept development, and design teaching. He graduated with a Bachelors of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in 2014.
Andy aims to create resoundingly unique experiences by understanding the customs of end-level users. His work, both grounded in the teachings of his degree and yet defiant in their application, has been featured in The New York Times, PSFK, and Ubiquitous Magazine. When he is not working as the design director of the Pixel Academy, he is experimenting with 3D printing, going to garage rock shows, or cooking strange foods. He is driven by a desire to challenge the ordinary.
