BBSA blind project.
BBSA ran a live project, that our lecturers decided to work into our course. Due to the amount of children that have, or almost have, choked themselves on blind cords, we were tasked to design a new way of containing looped blind cords.
A parallel objective of this brief was to design a blind that helped with temperature management in offices or households.
This was a group project, so I worked as part of a pair. My job was the 3D modelling work, and the production of a physical visual model.
All modelling was done on a surface level on Autodesk Alias, then a physical version for visual purposes was 3D printed on a Zprinter.
