Work with clients and users in co-designing needed and desired products. Identifying suppliers, materials running tests with prototypes and mock ups refining and reiterating designs to create final viable products. Produce custom-ware components for lighting designers, musicians, and artists. Successes include the "Antelope Valley" chair set, each from a single slab of wood, utilizing wood shop equipment and CNC Shopbot woven art from found boxes of "lost" cables and wires ceramics line of "Giving Bowls." Cupertinker Space Makers and Hackers Group

One of early adopters for a maker group, I scheduled, planned, handled logistics, ran workshops for participants ranging in age from 5-years-old to 99-years-old(!). I learned electronics from members one of whom was the inspiration for my master's thesis project. Searched and located maker spaces to hold workshops, ran jobs and meetings, provided work space and equipment for the public, and coordinated with other maker groups. Created posters, venues, and curated displays for Rogue's Gallery, inaugural school of design student show with theme, "Design Process." Ran 3- day Hack-A-Thon for Zero Waste theme and challenge generated change created lounge for student social and study area interfaced between students and interim staff for positive change and more stability within program.

Instruct members how to safely use equipment: CNC Alpha Shopbot, laser cutter, 3D printer, welding, woodshop machines, and lathe. This is also my workshop for creating prototypes of my own work. My designs include large-scale projects like room partitions, screens, building facades utilizing Rhino's Grasshopper 3D CAD, Solidworks and Adobe Illustrator small-scale projects like a desktop maze game, Pi seat, and flat-pack log cabin house banks.

Ran full-day Woodshop Camp for (8) students (10-16-years-old) for one-week periods demonstrated to campers usage, and confirmed abilities to allow them to work with miter saw, disc sander, drill press, bandsaw, planer, and lathes. Tested campers, and required final presentations of finished products at end of camp.
