Hi and thanks for viewing my page!
The best way to describe myself would be "Creative Swiss Army Knife". In my current role, I am the sole creative professional in a very large resort. My job duties place me in a distinct career limbo -- Though my title is Marketing Manager, I perform many tasks that qualify me for multiple positions in creative fields. I am great with Adobe applications and work on both Mac and PC.
I design logos, booklets, flyers, posters and web graphics with ease and have extensive experience in Human Resources, Marketing and the Hotel/Hospitality Industry. I am currently responsible for many digital forms of advertising and communications including making short videos, motion graphics and concise marketing screens, I have even been known to write creative copy.
I enjoy the challenge of entertaining people from a technical point of view -- this has always benefited my responsibilities in production roles. Part of my current job involves planning and executing large events (staged productions, parties and presentations). Because of these needs, I have become proficient in scripting and at times I have been known to let my playful side run free (rampant).
My co-workers know me as extremely mechanically minded and know I like solving problems. This is why I have been called on in multiple instances to help concept future capital projects and create 3D models that allow uncreative people understand and buy into ideas that that need high-level approval.
My typical day-to-day functions require me to work collaboratively to plan revenue-generating programs, and build communications resources that drive business to our resort's eight food and beverage outlets, special events and four-star spa, as well as satisfy many other department's creative needs.
Thanks again for looking at my work -- Enjoy!
