Design assistant at NLM Designs, a residential/commercial design firm in Hoboken, NJ (moved to Asbury Park, NJ) for the summer of 2012. Responsible for CAD drawings, maintaining communication with manufacturers, placing POs, requesting quotes, sample ordering, site surveying, shop drawings, organizing material boards, material library organization, light accounting.

Black Rocket Productions is an digital arts education company that provides weekend and summer programs for children and young adults. The classes were one week long and hosted at variety of community colleges and art centers. As an instructor for Black Rocket I was responsible for ensuring the safety of the kids in my classroom, communicating with parents, learning and exemplifying the company culture and protocols, teaching the material, and keeping on schedule in order to ensure that every child had a completed project to take home by the end of the course, responsible for transporting company equipment to and from class locations (e.g. laptops, digital cameras, microphones, mice and keyboards, craft supplies). Courses taught: digital animation, stop motion animation, movie editing, fashion.

Black Rocket Productions is an digital arts education company that provides weekend and summer programs for children and young adults. As a teaching assistant for Black Rocket I was responsible primarily for helping the instructor maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment by individually working with students who needed more help, guiding kids along brainstorming sessions for projects, walking kids to the bathroom, and sitting with an assigned group of students for lunch.
