I like to think of myself as a designer, without the tag of any particular discipline. To me, creativity is a process that involves research, understanding, analysis and a certain amount of gut feel that comes from experience gained from dabbling in various activities related as well as unrelated.
As a designer, I wish to create a niche where ‘design for the user’ is the operative word, where form follows function and yet is aesthetically competent. To design spaces that are an experience, to design vehicles that have a character and an attitude, to bridge the gap between economically viable and aesthetically sound design.
My work experience includes – Retail design, Interior design, Interpretive Installations, Exhibition design, POP, VM, Industrial product design and Modular structure design along with branding and graphic design.
Over a period I intend to include thematic and experiential spaces and transportation design as part of my design portfolio.
