Design & Content Manager - eCommerce - Mothercare

Responsible for the web user interface creative, design guidelines
through design life cycle from brief to execution on Mothercare
websites. Work closely with E‐commerce, internal, 3rd party, host
brand, and merchants to turn marketing initiatives and overall
company strategy into creative web solutions, while monitoring quality
standards, and brand identity. Provide leadership to a team of web
designers and assume responsibility for hands‐on creative work and/or
outsourcing as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Responsible for Brand Management for one’s own area of the
Department
● Attend briefings and weekly creative reviews to brainstorm,
and provide feedback on business objectives.
● Communicate brand standards to web designers as required.
● Liaise with other creative functions to ensure consistent brand
identity, graphics standards and messaging for all produced
designs.
● Establish and manage an in‐house digital studio for digital
media needs.
● Create and maintain web content in conjunction with other
web editors and input changes to content in CMS, including
required metadata and rich data.
● Ensure that the content is managed across the website,
maintaining consistency in look and feel.
Responsible Project management, planning and reporting in one’s
own area of the Department
● Negotiate terms and deadlines with internal teams.
● Managing periodic website content health check audit and
review.
● Create a reporting framework measuring site performance,
customer journeys and promotional performance
