After I graduated from New York University film school in 2007, I worked as a television Video Editor for Northwest Cable News, while finishing my first feature-length screenplay titled "Salvation." In 2011, my screenplay was a finalist at the Sundance Institute. I recently completed my second feature-length screenplay, titled "The Rousty."
While in New York, I worked on writing and editing commercial treatments at Smugger Productions. I was also an Intern at United Artists/MGM in the acquisitions department, and at Content Film in the development studio. I have taken copywriting classes at the School of Visual Concepts in Seattle, and worked on a student "Exploring Advertising Program" at Elgin DDB, where we developed and drafted creative briefs for an ad campaign.
I currently live in Seattle and work as a Starbucks Barista while continuing to write screenplays.
I specialize in Final Cut Pro HD, AVID Express Pro, Final Draft, Excel, Outlook, Word, blogging, copywriting, and video editing. At Starbucks I am a certified Barista Mentor and love crafting beverages to every customer's satisfaction and welcoming guests to our store.
