After high school I attended Florida Gateway College in Lake City, FL where I became interested in graphic design. After two years I graduated Summa Cum Laude with an A.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Certificate in Graphic Design. Within a few weeks I started my first job ever at The Baker County Press working part-time as a graphic designer where I have: created ads, edited photos, typed classified ads, done page layout, corresponded with customers, answered phones, proofed ads, and prepared and sent files to print. After one year of working part-time and being involved with my church, I went back to college to earn my bachelor's degree. (My gracious boss allowed me to work whenever I was able to, during my time at Jacksonville University.) While attending JU I drove from home five days a week. That's about a two hour round trip for me, a total of ten hours a week spent driving (Thank God for the radio). This past May 2014, I graduated from JU with a BFA in Computer Art and Design, Specialization in Graphic Design and a GPA of 3.885. I am currently looking for a full-time position in graphic design and am accepting freelance work.
In my spare time I like to watch movies, read news articles, window shop online, and I love to sing.
